Koh Phangan Full Moon Party

 

The Full Moon Party stands as Thailand's most iconic beach bash and one of the most famous beach parties worldwide. It happens monthly on Haad Rin Beach on Koh Phangan island, drawing thousands of travelers from all corners of the globe.

What to Expect

Once the sun goes down, Haad Rin Beach transforms into a pulsating playground of music, lights, and energy. The beach fills with sound systems, each playing different music styles—from commercial hits and EDM to reggae, drum and bass, and techno.

You will find:

Multiple stages with international and local DJs.

Fire shows, performances, and games involving fire that you can participate!

UV body paint stations.

Food stalls and beach bars.

A massive beach-wide dance floor under the moonlight.

And with the recent legalization of cannabis in Thailand, you will find countless number of weed shops lining up the streets of town.

As of the time of this writing, the party is officially permitted to run till sunrise (6:00 am).
