Amazing Thailand Pattaya Marathon 2027
The Amazing Thailand Pattaya Marathon is one of the biggest road races in Thailand and one of Pattaya's most popular sporting events. Each year, thousands of Thai and international runners gather in the city for a weekend of racing along the coast, with distances for every level, from elite marathoners to families running together.
The 2026 edition, the 33rd, welcomed more than 21,000 participants from 58 countries.
Run by the Sea
The races start and finish in North Pattaya, in front of Terminal 21, and follow the beachfront, with the sea breeze and the first light of day over the Gulf of Thailand. The event usually includes:
Full marathon (42.195 km)
Half marathon (21.1 km)
10 km run
4.5 km wheelchair race
4.5 km family run
Races start very early in the morning to avoid the heat, and the warm, humid climate makes the course a real challenge. Arriving a few days before race day helps your body adapt to the conditions.
