Pattaya International Pride Festival 2027
Every June, Pattaya celebrates diversity, equality and love with the Pattaya International Pride Festival, one of the most colourful events of the year in Thailand. For three days, the city's famous beachfront becomes a joyful, open celebration where everyone is welcome to be proud of who they are.
Organised by Pattaya City, the festival has grown year after year into an international event, welcoming the LGBTQIA+ community, their friends, families and visitors from around the world.
A Rainbow Parade along Pattaya Beach
The highlight of the festival is the Pride Parade along Pattaya Beach Road. In 2026, the parade stretched for more than 2.8 kilometres along the seafront, with colourful floats, costumes, music and dancing, set against the beach and the sunset over the bay.
Over three days, the programme also includes beach activities and competitions, performances, live music and the Health Queen pageant organised by the Sisters Foundation, combining celebration with awareness and community spirit.
Pride in Thailand
Thailand is known as one of the most welcoming destinations in Asia for LGBTQIA+ travellers, and in 2025 it became the first country in Southeast Asia to recognise same-sex marriage. June is Pride Month across the country, and Pattaya's beachfront festival is one of its most festive celebrations.
