Bangpra International Golf Club: A Classic Course Since 1958
North of Pattaya, near Si Racha, Bangpra International Golf Club is one of the oldest golf courses in Thailand. Built in 1958 and fully renovated in 1988 in partnership with the Tourism Authority of Thailand, it was the country's first course designed to promote golf tourism. Its 18 holes wind through a gently sloping valley surrounded by forest, with mature trees and colourful bougainvillea on every hole: a classic course with real character, still a favourite of golfers in the region.
The Course
18 holes · Par 72 · about 7,400 yards from the back tees
Front Nine
Tighter and more undulating, with some memorable long holes: the par-5 5th has a green partly guarded by water, and the par-5 7th, the longest hole of the course at over 600 yards from the back tees, plays mostly downhill.
Back Nine
Flatter and more open, but water is the key challenge here, with several carries to elevated greens.
The Par 3s
Bangpra is best known for its long par 3s. The 12th and the 17th both demand a precise tee shot over water, and the 17th plays over 200 yards from the back tees.

Good to Know
After your round: the Japanese-style baths of the clubhouse are perfect to relax before lunch.
Local wildlife: the course is known locally as the "monkey course", so keep an eye on your belongings.
Tee off early: morning rounds are cooler and more pleasant.
Combine with the area: Khao Kheow Open Zoo and Laem Chabang International are both nearby.
