Space Club & Karaoke: A Thai Night Out, the Local Way
This is not a Walking Street club, and that is the point. Space Club & Karaoke sits in North Pattaya, away from the tourist strips, and runs on a format that Thai nightlife knows well and visitors rarely see: a team of young male hosts who join your table, pour your drinks and keep the conversation going, Thai DJs playing Thai pop and party hits, karaoke rooms for groups, bottle promotions on the table, and themed parties built around the Thai calendar, from Songkran foam parties to costume nights. The crowd is Thai, often female and LGBTQ+, and the atmosphere is loud, warm and very local.
What to Expect
The venue: a club floor with a DJ stage and standing tables, plus private karaoke rooms for groups who want to sing. Lights, screens and a sound system sized for a Thai party rather than a tourist disco.
The hosts: the heart of the format. Young men in matching shirts who sit with your table, serve the drinks, sing along and dance. You buy them drinks to keep them at the table, which is how the system works and how they are paid. Open to customers of every gender.
The music: Thai pop, luk thung and party hits from a rotation of Thai DJs, with the occasional live performance and a lot of singing from the floor. International hits are the exception, not the rule.
The nights: themed parties through the year, Songkran, foam parties, costume nights with prizes, birthdays and holiday specials, all announced in Thai on the club's pages.
The crowd: Thai locals from Pattaya and the surrounding provinces, groups of women, LGBTQ+ guests and a few adventurous visitors. Almost no tourists, and English is limited.
The rhythm: doors in the evening, the floor and the karaoke rooms busy after 10:00 PM, and the party until the early hours.

Entry: usually free. You pay for your bottle, mixers and the hosts' drinks.
Getting there: about 15 minutes by car from Soi Pattaya Land. Bolt or Grab is the easiest option, or ask our team to arrange your transport.
Age: adults only. The legal drinking age in Thailand is 20, and ID is checked at the door.

Understand the format: hosts' drinks are priced separately and added to your bill. Ask the price before inviting a host to sit, and keep count.
Bottle promotions: the club runs regular bottle and free-mixer deals. Ask what is on when you arrive.
Bring your ID: Thai clubs check passports or ID cards at the door for everyone. No ID, no entry.
