Pupen Seafood: Pattaya's Legendary Crab Restaurant
At the far end of Jomtien Beach Road, in Na Jomtien, a giant blue crab statue marks the entrance to Pupen Seafood, one of Pattaya's most famous seafood restaurants. Founded in the 1980s with just a few tables on the beach, it was the first restaurant in Pattaya to cook live crab fresh from the boats, and its name still celebrates it. Today, this beachfront institution welcomes Thai families, locals and visitors in a vast open-air setting by the sea.

The restaurant combines spacious air-conditioned dining halls with outdoor tables on the sand, facing the Gulf of Thailand. In the evening, the sea breeze and the sunset make it a lively and memorable place for dinner.
From the Tank to the Table
Crab is the star of the house. Choose your seafood from the live tanks, then enjoy it steamed, grilled, in curry or in fried rice, prepared with authentic Thai flavours.
The House Favourites
Guest favourites include the steamed blue crab with Thai seafood sauce, the crab curry, grilled prawns and stir-fried squid with salted egg yolk.
