Na Jomtien Beach: Pattaya's Quiet Southern Coast
South of Jomtien, towards Sattahip, Na Jomtien is the most peaceful stretch of coastline in the Pattaya area. Long beaches lined with palm trees, calm water among the cleanest on the mainland, few crowds and an authentic atmosphere loved by Thai families. This is also where some of the area's best seafood restaurants are found, right by the sea. A perfect escape for a slow beach day, close to Nong Nooch, the water parks and the golden Buddha of Khao Chi Chan.

Far from the bustle of central Pattaya, Na Jomtien offers wide, quiet beaches where you can find your own spot by the sea, even in high season.
Swim in Calm Water
With fewer boats and less development, the water here is calmer and often clearer than on the city beaches, ideal for a relaxing swim.
Ban Amphur Beach
Further south, the small Ban Amphur Beach is a local favourite: a calm, family-friendly bay with no jet skis, shaded walkways, a children's playground and beachfront seafood restaurants.
Seafood by the Sea
Na Jomtien is famous for its large beachfront seafood restaurants, popular with Thai families. Enjoy grilled prawns, crab and fresh fish with your feet almost in the sand, especially at sunset.

Fewer services: loungers and shops are less common than in Jomtien, so bring water, a towel and some shade.
Private transport recommended: the beaches are spread out and public transport is limited, so a car is the easiest way to explore.
Weekends: Thai families come for seafood lunches, giving the area a lively, local atmosphere.
Combine your day: Nong Nooch Tropical Garden, the water parks and Khao Chi Chan are all nearby.
Best time: late afternoon for the sunset and a seafood dinner by the sea.
