Pattaya Night Bazaar: A Covered Market in the Heart of Pattaya
Right on Pattaya 2nd Road, opposite Central Pattaya, the Pattaya Night Bazaar is an easy place to hunt for souvenirs and gifts. Despite its name, this large covered market opens from late morning, with more than 250 small shops lined along wide aisles, sheltered from the sun and the rain.
What to Find
Souvenirs and gifts: Thai handicrafts, carvings, scented soaps, home decoration, magnets, keyrings and small gifts to bring back home.
Fashion and accessories: clothes, beachwear, shoes, bags, hats, sunglasses, watches and jewellery, at local prices.
Travel essentials: luggage, phone accessories, gadgets and everything you may have forgotten to pack.
Prices are rarely fixed: friendly haggling is part of the experience, and vendors usually start high.

Plan about an hour: the market is easy to explore, and perfect to combine with Central Pattaya across the road.
Haggle with a smile: start well below the first price, stay friendly, and buy several items from the same shop for a better deal.
Bring cash: many small shops prefer cash.
Branded goods: many "brand" items sold in markets are not genuine. Some countries fine travellers who bring counterfeit goods home, so check your own customs rules.
A good rainy-day plan: the market is fully covered, ideal when a tropical shower hits.
