Since 1999, Thepprasit Night Market has been one of Pattaya's favourite evening outings, for locals and visitors alike. Hundreds of stalls, the smell of grilled street food, music and a lively crowd: it is the place to experience a true Thai night market, just a short ride from the beaches.
What to Find
Street food: the food zone is the heart of the market. Dishes from several regions of Thailand, grilled skewers, seafood, fresh fruit, Thai desserts and drinks, all at local prices. Come hungry and share several dishes as a group.
Shopping: clothes, shoes, accessories, souvenirs, household items, gadgets and electronics, with a second-hand and flea-market section at one end of the market. Prices are low, and friendly haggling is part of the fun.
Atmosphere: at weekends, pop-up bars, a stage with live Thai music and street performers turn the market into a big open-air party.
