Changthai Thappraya Safari: Elephants and Adventure in the Countryside
In the green countryside east of Pattaya, among coconut, pineapple and eucalyptus farms, Changthai Thappraya Safari and Adventure Park combines a traditional elephant camp with a wide choice of outdoor activities. Elephant trekking, horse riding, ATV rides, shooting and more: you choose your activities on site and build your own adventure day, alone, with friends or with the family.
What to Expect
Elephant trekking: rides on an elephant's back through the jungle, across streams and farmland, guided by the mahouts. After the trek, you can feed the elephants and take photos with them.
Horse riding: rides along the park's trails, for those who prefer a more familiar mount.
ATV and buggy: guided off-road rides through the pineapple farms and the countryside.
Shooting range: target shooting under the supervision of instructors.
And more: a zipline, a petting zoo and animals to feed, for the whole family.

Distance: about 30 minutes by car from central Pattaya
Good to Know
Come in the morning: the temperatures are cooler, and you'll have time to combine several activities before the last check-in.
What to wear: comfortable clothes you don't mind getting dusty, and closed shoes for the ATV and horse riding.
Sun and insects: bring sunscreen, a hat and insect repellent.
Getting there: the park is in the countryside, so a private car is the easiest option. Ask our team to arrange your transport.
