Chee Chan Golf Resort: Golf Facing the Golden Buddha
South of Pattaya, in the Silverlake area of Na Jomtien, Chee Chan Golf Resort is one of the most spectacular golf courses in Thailand. Opened in 2018 and designed by David Dale of Golfplan, it was named Best Course in Thailand in 2020 by Golf Digest and by the World Golf Awards. Its signature: the giant golden Buddha carved into the cliff of Khao Chi Chan, visible from almost every hole, with views towards Pattaya, Jomtien and the Gulf of Thailand.
The Course
18 holes · Par 72 · from about 5,400 to 7,345 yards depending on the tees
A premium links-style layout on about 580 rai, with rolling fairways, contoured greens, intricate bunkering, native landscapes and wetlands. The Zoysia fairways and TifEagle Bermuda greens, rare in the region, are kept in immaculate condition. With several tees on every hole, the course suits all levels, from beginners to low handicaps.

A strong par-4 dogleg left around a lake, with a creek crossing the fairway and a green guarded by two bunkers. One of the many memorable holes of the course.
