Crystal Bay Golf Club: 27 Holes Among the Palm Trees
North of Pattaya, in Bang Phra near Si Racha, Crystal Bay Golf Club is known for its palm-lined fairways, which give it a distinctly tropical, almost Hawaiian feel. Opened in 1988, it offers 27 holes on gently rolling terrain, with water and bunkers in play throughout. Easy to walk, enjoyable for all levels and offering plenty of birdie chances, it is one of the most popular courses with golfers in the region.
The Three Nines
27 holes · Par 72 for every 18-hole combination · about 7,000 yards from the back tees
Course A
The most water-heavy nine, with water in play on eight of its nine holes. Its par 3s are the highlight: the 5th demands a long carry over water to a green guarded by bunkers, and the 8th is played to an island green surrounded by five bunkers.
Course B
Less water, but when it comes into play, it counts. The par-5 3rd doglegs left along the water all the way to the green, and the short par-3 6th requires carrying both water and a large bunker just in front of the green.
Course C
Here, sand is the main challenge. At the par-4 3rd, cutting the dogleg brings two huge fairway bunkers into play. This nine also runs closest to the jungle-clad hills that border the course.

Book midweek: the course is popular, so weekdays are quieter.
Watch the wind: on a calm day the course offers plenty of scoring chances, but the wind can make it much harder.
Trust your caddie: the caddies here are known for reading the greens very well.
Combine with the area: Bangpra International Golf Club and Khao Kheow Open Zoo are both nearby.
