Soi Honey: Pattaya's Small Street with a Big Reputation

Short, central and unmistakably adult. Soi Honey runs between Pattaya Second Road and the LK Metro area in the heart of central Pattaya, a compact strip of bars, lounges and gentlemen's clubs that regulars know well and first-timers often walk past. It is less theatrical than Walking Street and sits a few steps from LK Metro, which makes it an easy addition to an evening in the Soi Buakhao area. Adults only.

What to Expect

The street: a narrow soi a couple of hundred metres long, with open-front bars on one side and closed-door lounges on the other. You reach LK Metro at one end and Second Road at the other.

The venues: a mix you don't find on a single street elsewhere in Pattaya: a go-go bar, hostess bars with a counter and a pool table, lounge-style gentlemen's clubs, and massage shops in between. Each works differently, so look before you sit down.

The crowd: mostly expats and repeat visitors, often on their way to or from LK Metro. Quieter and more direct than the big strips.

The rhythm: bars open from the afternoon, the street builds through the evening, and it stays active until the early hours alongside LK Metro next door.

  • Opening hours: from the afternoon until the early hours, hours vary by venue

  • Getting there: about 10 minutes by car from Walking Street or Soi Pattaya Land, or a two-minute walk from LK Metro. Bolt or Grab is the easiest option, or ask our team to arrange your transport.

  • Age: adults only. The legal drinking age in Thailand is 20.

  • Check prices first: ask for the menu before ordering, in every venue. Drinks for staff are priced separately from your own, and lounges may charge differently from bars.

  • Look before you sit: bars, lounges and clubs work differently on this street. A quick glance inside tells you which kind you are walking into.

  • No photos: staff and customers do not want to be filmed. Keep your phone in your pocket.

  • Cash is simpler: most venues do not take cards.

  • Combine your evening: LK Metro is next door, Soi Buakhao and Tree Town a short walk away. The whole area makes one long evening without a taxi.
