Pattaya Floating Market: A Journey Through Thailand's Four Regions
Cross the entrance bridge and the bustle of Sukhumvit Road disappears behind a maze of canals, wooden stilt houses and tiled roofs. The Pattaya Floating Market, also known as the Four Regions Floating Market, recreates traditional Thai riverside life across 100,000 m². Divided into four zones representing the North, the Northeast, the Central Plains and the South, it's a colourful introduction to Thai food, crafts and culture.
What to Expect
Four regions, four atmospheres: each zone showcases the architecture, food and crafts of a different region of Thailand.
Boat ride: glide through the canals on a traditional rowing boat, the best way to see the market from the water.
Thai food: local dishes and snacks from every region, prepared by vendors on land and on their boats.
Shopping: more than 100 shops and floating vendors selling wood carvings, handicrafts, traditional clothes and souvenirs.
Culture: traditional dance performances and cultural shows, plus Thai costume rental for photos.

Come early: between 9:00 and 11:00 AM, the market is calmer and cooler.
Boat ride first: take the boat ride when you arrive, before the afternoon crowds.
Weekdays are quieter: weekends and public holidays can be crowded.
Bring cash: many food stalls and small vendors prefer cash.
Getting there: Bolt or Grab is the easiest option, or ask our team to arrange your transport.
