Tree Town Pattaya

Bar & Food Complex | Dinner, drinks and live music, all in one village. You Only Live Once.

Tree Town: Pattaya's Open-Air Bar Village

Not a bar, not a street, but a whole village. Tree Town is a square open-air complex in the middle of Soi Buakhao, in central Pattaya, where dozens of bars, food stalls, pool tables and live-music stages share one big courtyard under strings of lights. You arrive for dinner at the night-market food court, move on to a bar, catch a band, and never leave the site. It has become the defining nightlife spot of the Soi Buakhao area, and the favourite of long-stay visitors who want something more open and social than Walking Street.

What to Expect

The layout: a square block of lanes and courtyards between Soi Buakhao and Second Road, with bars on every side and the food area in the middle. Myth Night Bar Beer Town, the second bar village, starts right behind it.

The bars: dozens of open-front bars, most with a pool table, some with a theme, a cocktail bar built into a car, a rock bar with a stage, and a few lounges for a quieter drink. Prices are the same across most of the complex and among the lowest in Pattaya.

The food: a night-market food court at the heart of Tree Town, with Thai and international stalls, grilled seafood and late-night snacks. This is why Tree Town works as a whole evening rather than a single stop.

Live music: bands play most nights, from classic rock to covers, and you can hear them from half the bars in the complex.

The crowd: expats, long-stay travellers and repeat visitors, with a good mix of ages and nationalities. Relaxed, sociable, and easy to meet people.

The rhythm: the complex is open from the morning, food and first drinks from the afternoon, full swing from the evening until 4:00 AM.

Landmark Bars at Tree Town

This list is not exhaustive. Venues change hands and names from one season to the next, so treat it as a starting point rather than a complete directory.

Good to Know

  • Eat first: the food court is the best way to start. Pick a table, order from several stalls, then head for the bars.

  • Follow the music: live bands change from one night to the next. Walk a lap and stop where the sound is best.

  • Check prices first: most bars display a drinks list, and prices are similar across the complex. Drinks for staff are priced separately from your own.

  • Cash is simpler: stalls and small bars rarely take cards.

  • Two villages, one walk: Myth Night Bar Beer Town starts right behind Tree Town, so you can cover both without a taxi.
