Wangjuntr Golf Park: Golf and Nature in the Hills of Rayong

In the green hills of Wang Chan, Rayong, Wangjuntr Golf Park is one of the most original golf destinations in Thailand. Opened in 2002 and designed by Thai architect Prasobchai Kasemsant, it was built on former rubber, pineapple, sugarcane and cassava plantations, keeping every large tree in place. Its unique feature: a Japanese-style "twin green" design, with two greens on every hole, so each course plays differently depending on the green in use that day.

The Courses

Highland Course

18 holes · Par 72 · about 7,640 yards from the championship tees

The flagship course, and one of the longest in Thailand. Elevation changes and spectacular views over the surrounding hills make it the favourite of most visitors, but also the most demanding.

Valley Course

18 holes · Par 72 · about 7,170 yards from the championship tees

A more traditional layout, with an unusual mix of five par 3s and five par 5s. Its par-3 15th plays to a sloping green above a pond, and the 17th sits on a cliff with panoramic views. Some par 3s stretch beyond 240 yards.

Jungle Course

A third layout through denser vegetation, with water in play on almost every hole. Ask our team to check its availability before your visit.

Good to Know

  • A real escape: far from the city, the courses are surrounded by preserved nature, and you may even spot deer on the fairways.

  • Bring extra balls: the Highland and Jungle courses can be unforgiving for wayward shots.

  • Two greens per hole: ask your caddie which green is in play before every approach.

  • Plan a full day: with the drive, a round here is best enjoyed as a day trip.

  • Getting there: a private car is the easiest option with your golf bags. Ask our team to arrange your transport.
